We are seeking a Senior SAP Procurement Data Lead for one of our clients, a globally recognized leader in the consumer goods (FMCG) sector with a vast international presence. This position is part of a strategic initiative to centralize, modernize, and optimize digital operations and data frameworks within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA ecosystem.
In this role, you will be a key architect of the enterprise’s data governance and analytics strategy. You will bridge the gap between technical data engineering teams and senior procurement stakeholders, ensuring high data quality, seamless delivery, and actionable insights across global purchasing operations.
What will your tasks involve?
- Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and oversee functional data frameworks within SAP S/4HANA, focusing on Material Master, Business Partner (Vendor Master), Purchasing Info Records, and Source Lists.
- Governance & Compliance: Enforce strict data quality standards, consistency, and enterprise compliance rules across all procurement data domains.
- Procurement Intelligence: Analyze spend data, supplier performance metrics, purchase order trends, and stock movements to drive strategic sourcing decisions.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a primary liaison between data solutions teams and business leaders, translating complex technical structures into clear executive presentations.
- S/4HANA Implementation Support: Ensure structural integrity and data readiness during ongoing S/4HANA core deployment cycles.
What we expect from you?
- Senior Expertise: 9 to 12 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP Procurement, Data Solutions, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Tier-1 Background: Proven track record in a major consulting firm (Big 4 or Accenture) is highly preferred.
- Domain Mastery: Deep understanding of purchasing structures, Quota Arrangements, Purchasing Organizations, and Business Partner setups.
- Executive Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder delivery capabilities.
- Analytical Capability: Strong ability to extract, structure, and present actionable procurement insights from complex ERP data environments.
