For our client, a company which recently underwent a major corporate separation from a global enterprise to establish a new, independent organization, we are looking for a highly experienced, self-driven, and hands-on Payroll Project Manager for a transformation project. In this role, you will oversee the vendor’s delivery, monitor implementation progress, and define the future-state operating model for the client's internal team.
What will your tasks involve?
- Project Oversight & Governance:
- Represent the client's interests across all system and process streams led by the implementation team.
- Monitor project milestones, overall completeness, execution quality, and deployment progress.
- Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and escalate any "red flags" promptly.
- Process Mapping & TO-BE Design:
- Map out clear boundaries and responsibilities between Payroll and People Solutions (HR Ops).
- Map interactions, handoffs, and accountability between internal teams (Payroll / HR Ops) and external vendors.
- Define and recommend the target TO-BE process model.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project communication across internal business units, the implementation team, and third-party vendors.
- Work closely with the established project team to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
What we expect from you?
- Experience in project management (8-10 years) with a proven track record in large-scale transformation projects within Payroll and HR Operations,
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Payroll and HR Ops / People Solutions processes,
- Hands-on experience with systems such as Workday (or equivalent enterprise HR/Payroll platforms),
- Fluent English (written and spoken),
- A strong "hands-on" attitude — someone who actively digs into processes, systems, and details rather than just managing high-level progress,
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational setups and carve-out scenarios.
What you can expect from us?
- A pivotal role in a strategic carve-out transformation project, directly shaping the future HR/Payroll operations of a growing, independent business,
- An engaging contract for approximately 10 months,
- Hybrid or remote work model,
- An opportunity to lead critical operational streams within an international setup,
- MultiSport card,
- Private medical care.
